I was so excited to be asked to join the Delighful Dozen. It's a group of twelve gals started by blogger Delightfully Tacky (thus the "delightful" part) that will be swapping clothes from sponsors and our closets then showing all the ways we style them on our blogs. The first item I got my hands on is this blouse from Shop Ruche. I don't usually wear such embellished tops so it was a bit of a challenge to think of how I was going to wear it. After seeing the Bonnie and Clyde themed editorial from Harper's Baazar I knew I wanted to try to incorporate that 30s style.
If you'd like to follow along and see how the other gals style the top be sure to check out their blogs. So far Jen, Melanie and Julie have had their turn and now it's on its way to Tieka. After that you can catch it on Kristin, Krystal, Erin, Jessica, Rebecca, Elizabeth and Indiana.

Well, first off you look fantastic! You put together as usual a vintage inspired outfit that related to our modern world. My favorite thing about this ensemble was the chance to see your inspirations at work. After seeing your posting of the Bonnie and Clyde fashion editorial, and then to see your version of it, and you are soooo Bonnie and Clyde. Well done, well done, well done. PS: did I already say you look gorgeous?
I too was enamored by the Bonnie and Clyde shoot, and you did an amazing job recreating it here!
What a gorgeous setting...where were you?
You just look PERFECT.
You are gorgeous. The end.
I love how you've styled it! The beret and socks/oxfords make it totally Bonnie & Clyde, which is so different from how the other girls wore it! What a fun project!
!!!!
Very cute look! And I love that blouse! ;-)
Marvellous! I thought immediately of Bonnie&Clyde :-)
But where did you take the pics? the place looks fab too!
This outfit immediately exudes that 30s Bonnie style. :) The tattoo also adds to the classy bad-girl appeal.

I love that blouse! I almost bought it from Ruche but I somehow rationalized that I needed to buy textbooks. Needless to say, I made the wrong decision.

What a fascinating project this is going to be. How fun to see the imaginative twist that each of you will give an item.
Your take on it is perfection. I definitely see the Bonnie and Clyde references, but you still keep it grounded in the present!

lovely as always, miss. I LOVE that top on you. xx alexandra
The top is lovely, I actually love the embellishment of the neckline because it draws the eye up to your pretty face and kind of frames it.
And by the way, that upward corner shot is brilliant. It's just simple yet stunning.
