I complained and got some compensation back, as I still really loved the dress-the quirks and imperfections do tell some story. plus you're less afraid to wear it when it's not immaculate!Sharon Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15792904322725966887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2494891251909663152.post-26357544400588606152008-05-03T00:15:00.000-04:002008-05-03T00:15:00.000-04:00I think vintage is better because of the quirks it...I think vintage is better because of the quirks it has--at least they tell a story, right? For the most part, vintage is better quality so it's reasonable to expect some slight damage after decades of being worn.

awesome outfit and awesome lots this week, methinks I shall be bidding.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16675899550661441065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2494891251909663152.post-29620204914318632252008-05-02T23:48:00.000-04:002008-05-02T23:48:00.000-04:00Ohhhh keep the dress! I've been looking for something just like it, and no success yet.

It's sounds odd to me that someone would expect vintage clothing to be perfect. Sure, it's exciting when you find new-old stock clothing, but I'm totally OK with wear and tear. I prefer to feel cosy in an imperfect dress than paranoid that I'll ruin a pristine one.Stephanie Deehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16535789532252057100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2494891251909663152.post-4923116804222510662008-05-02T21:14:00.000-04:002008-05-02T21:14:00.000-04:00I'm the same way--I don't mind imperfections at al...I'm the same way--I don't mind imperfections at all. If I see something in a thrift or vintage store that has a little hole in it or something wrong I won't let that stop me if I really love the piece. But I have the same problem with selling . .. you never know what will stop a person from buying. Also when something I kind of love but intend to sell has a hole in it I use it as an excuse to keep it. :)

So good job with the romper! It's really really cute . ..Rhiannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08883786491456866682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2494891251909663152.post-38734837178115945042008-05-02T20:11:00.000-04:002008-05-02T20:11:00.000-04:00I love this floral skirt , it looks perfect with t...I love this floral skirt , it looks perfect with this leather jacket, nacklace-clock and this gorgeous shoes!stylediggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14724931764748520546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2494891251909663152.post-48132999374997943712008-05-02T19:53:00.000-04:002008-05-02T19:53:00.000-04:00I agree with the girls..If the garment has imperf...I agree with the girls..If the garment has imperfections but worth it(& the price is right)..then its ok to me. I sell vintage clothing as well and I also struggle with that same question all the time. I try to only sell the highest quality. If the garment happens to have a imperfection I always take a close up photo to show it. It's hard because they are old clothing and it is difficult to find vintage in pristine condition. I think the type of imperfection you mentioned for your dress is fine. I tend to use my best judgement, If I would wear it, then I would sell it because I am fairly picky with my clothing looking nice. Sometimes I do like things to look really worn, so I guess it just depends on the look you want.

Love your blog!!
xoxo
pretty pirateWhat we four sayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09199331683603053383noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2494891251909663152.post-5563176895363341322008-05-02T17:16:00.000-04:002008-05-02T17:16:00.000-04:00ooh i like outfits with black nylons a lott! you l...ooh i like outfits with black nylons a lott! you look absolutely great.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2494891251909663152.post-41394626147188594312008-05-02T14:58:00.000-04:002008-05-02T14:58:00.000-04:00sometimes slight imperfections do bother me, other...sometimes slight imperfections do bother me, other times not. i think it depends on the clothing.

also those boots are so neat.Lexiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07113599692927851843noreply@blogger.com
