Today I'm going to explore the town on my own for the first time. There's a Salvation Army and a Goodwill downtown that I'm going to check out as well as a couple of vintage clothing stores.
Cute outfit, love it! Love your blog too, care to exchange links?
ReplyDeleteI love your outfits, because you make vintage look fresh and modern! Please give us more! :)

this is just great! love the ethnic colorful pattern against neutrals. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe dress is really beautiful!
ReplyDeletei love this outfit x
ReplyDeletelove the dress and the way you combine brown and black!
ReplyDeleteDid you go to Zap and Co? I just bought a 60s mini dress there last week - more pricy than what I'd usually pay, but it was perfect. Also, I love Mommalicious Vintage. Her housewares are so cute.
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is so fabulous that I think I might emulate it with similar pieces.
ReplyDeleteSherbet Tone: Yes, I've checked out both of those places. Zap & Co. is a bit overwhelming but great and Mommalicious is really cute too. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find good vintage here (I was so spoiled for it in LA) but so far I've been lucky.
ReplyDeleteI've been reading your blog for a while now, and I love it. You seem to have a knack for finding the cutest vintage clothes!
ReplyDeleteHowever, I do have a question for you - how do you clean vintage shoes? Clothes at least you can throw in the wash or take for dry cleaning. But I just bought a really cute pair of vintage boots, and I'm afraid of getting some strange foot disease. What do you usually do?
Jennifer: First of all - thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying the blog.
ReplyDeleteYou can disinfect the inside of shoes with a can of spray Lysol. Just spray the insides and then let them dry out. That should do the trick.
