Last night we went to see The National play at a nearby college. They made my favorite album of last year so I was super excited to see them. Olivia, my boyfriend's niece and future fashionista, accompanied us for her first concert experience. Hi Olivia!
I mentioned these shorts, designed by Lou Doillon for Lee Cooper, in a previous post. With a little help from the über nice Steve at Lee Cooper, they arrived in my mailbox last week. Yay! Sometimes when you buy things online with out trying them on, they fall short (no pun intended) of your expectations. I can honestly say these are even better than I thought they would be. Just don't wait 'til the last second to hit the bathroom as there is quite a bit of unbuttoning to be done. :) And yes, I learned this the hard way last night. Ha!
Ah! Those shorts are love!

ReplyDeleteyou look lovely in these shots.
ReplyDeleteThey look great on you! I'm impressed that such a high waist works. I could never pull that off. Do you find that the pockets are too puffy though?
ReplyDeleteAngie: Thanks! With the way the shorts are constructed there are several layers of fabric under the pockets so they are kind of as you say, "puffy". I thought it might bother me but once I put them on it was fine.
