Today at Sally Jane Vintage

Here's your first look at just some of the items that will be posting in the store today. Lots of cute florals for summer, mini dresses, rompers, and some shoes I'll have a very hard time parting with. Be sure to drop in and check it all out. Thanks! :)

By the way, the romper in the middle on the third row is this romper. I love it, but it's time to find a new loving home. Maybe yours?

    i love the brown brogues, shorts and top centre romper, they're all marvellous! can't wait to see them in the store.
    i also love the romper you're wearing in the previous post! it's lovely. i haven't yet found a romper, which is so disappointing! i want one ever so much for this summer.

    Hey Sally Jane love all these clothes (especially the shoes)! Here's a question for you: I got a maxi dress from an op shop (Aussie version of a thrift store) a few days ago. It's gorgeous, but I'm not sure about the sleeves. They're nearly elbow length, floppy and have shoulder pads. Should I get rid of the sleeves and shoulder pads or leave the dress how it is? Cheers!

    anneliese: How great that you found a gorgeous maxi dress! Sleeves are always tricky to alter. Sometimes just taking out the shoulder pads does the trick for me so you can try that easy fix first. If that doesn't work, perhaps just shortening the sleeves will help. Or if they are too big around sometimes I stitch a seam from the armpit to the sleeve cuff on the bottom side of the sleeve to take them in. Hope that helps. Good luck!
