What I'm Wearing

photos by Tom b.

romper: vintage (Salvation Army)
shoes: vintage (Ebay)
flower: H&M
purse: vintage (America's Thrift)

Yesterday when my boyfriend and I walked to the farmer's market to buy the week's fruits and veggies we picked up a few extra apples to take to the horses and pigs at the Hans Herr House. After the animals were done munching on their treats, we explored the old barns where they still store some of the creepy old slaughter house equipment from when the farm was operating in the mid 18th century.

  27. These pics are very well done! and the romper is too sweet....do you use some sort of lighting in your pics>? Because they have this mystical light/glow to them...that lighting is what gives your pics that extra something...how do you do it?

  28. Thanks again everyone!

aj: I found these shoes on Ebay. Just keep looking! I'm sure you'll find something soon.

thesil: Wow! Thanks. I think she's really amazing. Must the be fringe.

ash1314: All of the light in my photos is natural light. I never use a flash. It's important to use a tripod when there is low light so the pictures don't get motion blur. That's about it! :)

  34. The flower used as a hat is especially cute. Like the romper too; you've really hit a nice balance between dressy and casual.

I wonder if I only imagine it due to the recent post on circus-inspired outfits, but I am getting that certain under-the-big-top -feeling from this one too... :)
