Last weekend I wrote about a collection of color photos from the 30's and 40's. If it was hard for me to imagine the world in full color during those years, it was nearly impossible to imagine the world in color during the early 1900's. But that's just what this
collection of Belgian autochromes show. It's a glimpse of color that is rarely seen; a soft focus world that conveys such a sense of romanticism. I think my favorite is the one with the two girls collecting flowers in the field.
