Today I'm out of my mind busy trying to get ready to post new Ebay auctions and Etsy items. Whew! I had a whole post planned out about the rainy season and how I'm always on the hunt for pretty vintage umbrellas but my brain has slowly turned to mush and I'm having a hard time writing anything that makes sense. Suffice to say, I like vintage umbrellas. I really want one that gets all pointy on top (like Francesca's in the photo). I'm sure there's a technical umbrella term for that but I don't know what it is. Rather than ramble on about it, enjoy these photos of some of my favorite Flickr girls showing off their lovely vintage umbrellas.

i have always neglected this accessory and manage to pick up any used and abused hand off when the weather turns to rain. i think about having a fancy umbrella a lot but never get around to finding/buying one. lovely picture round up-btw.
ReplyDeletethey are gorgeous, and i believe the pointy on top style is called pagoda.

Hi Sally,
ReplyDeleteDo you have any idea of how to wear this dress http://picasaweb.google.com/
tatileinebrecho/Vestidos#5308581125093900674 in a nice way? Every time I think of it, just simple looks come to my head.

I'm searching for a vintage umbrella too, they're so lovely and most of all they hopefully don't break up so easily as the new modern one my mum usually buys me :)
ReplyDeletebeautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteDid you see the black one Alix posted about recently? It's amazing!
ReplyDeletewow! hey i'm in there.

Somehow I just don't have enough style energy to invest in a beautiful umbrella (and then pose beautifully with it). These gals look great though.
