Louis Vuitton

Untitled-2

If you'd told me that the Louis Vuitton show was going to end up being my favorite of the season I'd have probably told you you were off your rocker. I guess it ends up making sense seeing that Marc Jacobs is the mind behind it all and I'm usually a fan of his work. I just typically like the Marc by Marc Jacobs best and was taken by surprise at just how much I like the Louis Vuitton this time around. The prim skirt length is especially refreshing and something I'm excited to experiment with more. That "below the knee" thing can be quite tricky to pull off. Definitely saving these looks as a reference when I'm stuck.

  1. I never would have thought it, too. I always love marc by marc and only usually like a few LV pieces, but this whole collection was so classic and beautiful.

  7. eeek! I LOVE it. Especially the rose pink dress.

I'm a big fan of Marc by Marc Jacobs dresses also. I think its my favorite designer. Its my goal to buy a Marc by Marc Jacobs dress one day... when I can afford it (which will be never).

  10. I love this collection too and it is rather surprising. I hope this portends a lowering of skirt hemlines in seasons to come. I am thoroughly over bum-grazing miniskirts that are so 'fashionable' right now.

  15. I also liked that he used curvier models than the ones normally seen on runways (Laetitia Costa, Adriana Lima, Elle MacPherson, etc.). I hope that's a trend that will stick around!
