Custom Bikes

Untitled-1

My favorite time-waster of the moment is click, click, clicking away to create custom bicycles on the Republic Bike site. If I found $400 laying on the ground the above version of the Dutch bike would be mine all mine! Of course I'd have to add a wicker basket and a bell.

  1. Funny, I just posted about my own bike clicks on my own blog. I'm obsessed with Italy's Abici bikes, that come in Pantone colors! I can't lay down the $900 for their Granturismo Donna in Viola, so I'm slowly turning my own bike into that one! Read: lavender paint, brown leather bike saddle, cream trim :) Bike bell a must!

  4. Since I moved back to Lancaster all I can think of is how I would love to have a pretty cruising bike to ride to market and all over town. This is a very dangerous post you've made.

  5. ooooh yeah......all I can think about lately = a vintage or vintage inspired bicycle. Must scour ground for wad of cash (miraculously I DID once find two $100 bills on the ground but that's loooong gone) ;)

  8. Oh my goodness, what amazing bikes! I sometimes think it would be worth spending the money on a bike I really loved, in the hope I'd be inspired to ride it everywhere...
