Can you say heat wave? I know, I know. It's so mundane to talk about the weather. But when it's reaching 100 degrees everyday it's sort of hard not to. It's also sort of hard to even think about getting dressed in the morning. This outfit is bordering on mundane too, but this is all I could muster putting on when I knew I was already going to be sweating at eight in the morning. You can bet that my hair (which is driving me crazy right now anyway) was pulled up and off my neck right after these photos were taken.
On a happier note, I really love these Jeffrey Campbell shoes that I just got from Modcloth. As soon as I got them, I switched out the stiffer leather laces for a pair that I found in one of those odds-n-ends one dollar grab bags you find at the thrift store. Much better! They're my favorite new shoes and I'm liking the modern edge they're giving to my vintage dresses.

I completly understand that you talk temperature. It is so hot outside. I remain inside secured and protected by the air conditioning. the shoes are lovely and they are very nice with the improvement you made. I really like the bag too. you have so nice vontage pieces...
