Many times when Tom returns from his photography explorations, the first thing he'll tell me is, "you'd love to take photos for your blog in that place!" Well, he's been telling me about this one particular place for ages. It's an old lace factory that used to make things like lace curtains and lace table cloths (table charm!). During WWII they stopped manufacturing lace and started making parachutes and camouflage netting. What else can I say about it except, he was right! This place had wonderful light pouring in every window. Perfect for photos.

Umm... I love this! I love the jumper paired with the silk blouse and your hat. And those t-straps are amazing. I've been looking everywhere for a pair of fairly inexpensive vintage (or vintage looking) t-straps but I can't find any. At least not in my size.
ReplyDeleteBut anyway, this location is also quite amazing. I love the story behind it, too. I just love history, though, so of course I would like it. :P
