This first weekend of the new year was pretty laid back around here. I spent the majority of my time camped out on the couch watching a Buffy the Vampire Slayer marathon, snuggling with the cats and feeding my Nutella addiction. Exciting, right?! Yeah, that's how I roll. Tom and I also watched parts of Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage, during which I realized that, when parted down the middle, I have some serious Geddy Lee hair going on right now. It's taking all my will power to stick with the growing out process! I don't know what I'll do when the weather warms up and I can no longer hide under a beret.

  6. Oh I love this outfit! That sweater looks so warm, and the colour of that skirt is fantastic. You blend in with the winter grasses :) Stick to growing your hair out young lady! It can tough in the funny in-between lengths but it's well worth it once it's super long like mine, hah!

  9. Oh, I really like that wool skirt! I'm in the market for something similar myself. it just ties the outfit together without calling attention to itself!

  10. The colour palette for your outfit is lovely; I have bookmarked this page for future fashion inspiration! I am hiding my growing hair under hats at the moment too, hopefully before long it will be long enough to do something with. Happy new year! x

  15. Sounds like a lovely beginning to the year and these phtotos look really beautiful! I can also share your hair growing out problem when i dyed my red hair pretty much black.... it really helped when i got my hairdresser to put streaks of my natural colour through my hair as it broke up that defiant line where the natural and dyed hair meet. Good luck with it, your hair still looks gorgeous though... :)

your blog definitely has the best photos of all vintage clothes blogs, and though my style is somewhat different (you often wear shorts and mini skirts a la 60s, and I never) you're my inspiration!

I have a question though. All of your photos are lovely and you find so many beautiful vintage pieces.

How much time do you spend weekly on your blog/look.
