Continuing the the never ending stream of Fall/Winter collections that are making the rounds is
Orla Kiely. It's no surprise that I'd include it here since I love it every single season. This fall's homage to 60s mod is retro perfection. I love how this collection always manages to walk the line between modern and vintage and never comes out looking like a costume. If you have a moment to watch the quirky-creepy video, I highly recommend it. It's always nice to see the clothes in action and not just in a still shot. Here are some of my favorite looks...

ReplyDeleteEvery single Orla Kiely collection is simply perfect, and this one is no exception. I adored the little blue dress and, since the collection is inspired by Hitchcock's The Birds, I suspect it is actually a quote ("the little blue bird"?). Gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteuhh, I've seen that film a few times and each time I just think "that's the coolest thing I've ever seen." definitely my favourite fashion video ever made. and the close aren't half bad either.
