These earring were a shiny brass color when I bought them. I dipped them in rubbing alcohol to take off the shiny coating and colored them in with a black sharpie marker. Then I rubbed them with a cloth to take off most of the marker ink.

those UO boots are so gorg! i work there and am trying to find a pair, but they only have 8.5s left, and i'm an 8. its pretty sweet what you did with those earrings and the skirt. i looks so cute short.

The skirt is so cute with that shirt!
i love the deep scoop of the back of your top. The skirt stands out and looks lovely against the black.
I love what you did here, you look the sizz, if i must say so myself...

Great skirt, I like how you saw the potential in the maxi skirt. The look reminds me of Etro (if I am remembering correctly...).
love what you did with the skirt. Also the boots are greatly, lastly is that the bodysuit from AA it looks great on you. I love how the back looks. I might have to do an AA run since I do need a new white t also.
Nice skirt, you did a great job!
I have a pile of "sewing projects", too!
Sadly, i don´t have many sew-skills!
you are so crafty, is fashion a full time job for you? just curious ;-)
Thank you so much for all of the comments!
Tali: No, it doesn't actually have a bubble hem even though it kind of looks like it in the photo for some reason.
Reggie: Sure! I'll check out you blog.
StyleSymmetry: When I lived in LA (up until Jan.) I was working as an assitant in the fashion industry. Now that I live in PA, I am working full time from home on my EBay business.
Not wanting to sound weird but you have such nice legs! And love the skirt contrasting with the leather jacket!
LOVE the prints!
that skirt is great. a sewing machine is on my list. I have so many things sitting in storage that I know, if altered, will be great.
amazing job on the skirt, congrats!
I've been eyeing those boots for awhile! Unfortunately UO didn't have my size so I just bought them half a size down...haven't received them yet, hopefully they fit!!
Oh yeah and awesome job on the skirt! I'm trying to learn to sew as well so I can alter thrift finds myself instead of taking them to a tailor.
Again, thanks everyone for all of your comments!
Anonymous: I usually wear a 6.5 and I got a 6 and they are perfect so it should work out for you. Hope so!
