super.fantastic.picture.time

When I ran across the above photo on Altamira my initial reaction was MUST. HAVE. BICYCLE. It is the picture perfect vintage bike I have my heart set on but have yet to find. But, I digress. This is not about vintage bicycles (a future post, perhaps?). After replacing my eyes in my head, I finally got around to reading the text below the photo and learned that this man on the bike of my dreams is a NYC based street photographer with his very own street style blog, super.fantastic.picture.time. It seems there are a million street style blogs out there and I can barely keep up with the few I check in on daily so I'm hesitant to add yet another site to my repertoire. But after scrolling through the first couple of pages, I was hooked. His images capture that certain something that New York girls seem to possess. I, for one, will be checking in on a regular basis.

peter is great, i've been reading his blog since he first started. i like his work better than the sartorialist, peter seems more raw and you can tell in the photos. they aren't always perfect and i like that. plus he always gets the cutest girls to pose.

I just got to NYC, you should check some of the street style pictures I took yesterday. I will be doing Austin once I move back to Texas.

That blue bike is amazing! It's exactly what I would want out of a bike.

This bike is easy to create: Just buy an old bike from the fleamarket and than paint it blue!
(I also love this bike)

I have that bicycle! It's a schwinn hollywood beach cruiser. I found mine at a vintage shop last summer, basket still attached even.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

I tend to agree that I like these photos more than the Sartorialist. These seem more accessible to me.

kristina-marie: I'll be sure to check out your photos.

betty: Thanks so much for telling me what kind of bike that is. I've been looking for the perfect bike for forever but never knew exactly what to ask people for. Now I know!
