What I'm Wearing

dress: vintage (Fairfax Flea Market)
shoes: vintage (Salvation Army, PA)
purse: vintage (America's Thrift, B'ham, AL)

This little vintage dress is one of my all time favorites! If for no other reason than it's made up entirely of bandannas sewn together and trimmed with white rick-rack. Oh, how I miss the Fairfax Flea Market. I used to walk there almost every Sunday when I lived in LA. Yet another reason to wish I was there this weekend. :)

Wow these photos have a filmic quality about them, bottom left hand corner reminds me a little bit of a Bill Henson photograph.
Lovely.

What a fantastic dress! I love the back of it and the rick-rack.

I love where you took the photos. It might not be LA, but it's great background scenery for your blog pics!

Oh! The back is so sexy and unexpected. I remeber what you said about dresses' backs... :) So true when it comes to this one.

I've been dreaming of a dress that's very proper in the front but has a wow factor in the back, and this one's making me want to find my perfect dress even more. The bandanna print makes it extra unique, and what girl can resist rick-rack?

Wow, who would think that a repurposed-bandana dress would be sewn into such a sensual, backless pattern! Unexpected and lovely.
