What I'm Wearing
dress: vintage slip worn as dress
tights: UO
shoes: vintage
hat: vintage
purse: vintage
flower pin: H&M
While I'm working at home, I'm usually parked on the couch, cat in the lap with the TV tuned to TCM. I've been catching so many great movies lately. One day there was a Barbara Stanwyck marathon (if you haven't seen Baby Face, you're missing out!), the next day a Katherine Hepburn marathon. I'm looking forward to the upcoming spotlight on Kay Francis. Even when I'm too busy to actually pay attention to the story lines I'm drawn in by the wardrobe and styling of the movies. You'd think the whole world used to live in floor length, bias cut satin gowns! In other words, I'm up to my ears in vintage movie inspiration and I think it's beginning to show.

i love the tights with the slip. also, the flower with that hat is adorable!
those tights look amazing with that dress!
So jealous! We got rid of cable and the only thing I miss is TCM. Sigh.
I love that last picture with the focus on the flower and blurry you in the background. :)
those tights are great!!!
Oh my god, that slip is gorgeous and styled to perfection! Love the mood of these shots too!
the dress is beautiful.
Your photos are getting better and better, I really love this and I really love the look too! Isn't that in between weather where you can wear tights and no sleeves great? Do you get lonely working from home? I think I probably would, as much as I like the idea...
wow the tights totally make the outfit
beautiful!
Gorgeous photos! Lovely outfit!
Everything you wear is put together so painstakingly well... I love that dress so much, and it is so flattering. I'd never pair it with those tights, but I'm glad you did!
i love that dress. your pictures are always so lovely and inspiring.
damn, I miss having a TV! I totally forgot the magic that TCM is...
