Me, Today...

It seems I've come down with a mean case of the reds. Between the change in weather and the change in time I'm feeling a bit restless. Trying to come up with something interesting to blog about when all I really want to do is get out and enjoy the day is frankly making my head hurt. So, instead of you hearing from me today, how about I hear from you? What would you like to see more of on this blog? I'd love to know!

*Update: Thanks so much for all of your comments! I'm feeling much better now. I just wanted to let you all know that I think I have the best readers out there. Really! I'm always reading on other blogs how people leave rude comments or ask inappropriate questions or criticize just for the sake of being mean and (I hope I'm not jinxing myself here) I never get any of that from you gals and guys. I'm seriously thankful for that. It's so much fun to wake up to a inbox full of nice messages. I don't think I could do this everyday if I woke up to an inbox full of meanness and spite. (Knock on wood!)

Also, thanks for all of your suggestions. I'll try to get back to doing more of the "four ways" posts. I just ran out of creative juice and was afraid they were going to get a bit repetitive but I just came up with an idea for a new one. I also think that as the weather warms up I'll try to do more "everyday outfit" posts since I'll be able to get out and about more often.

Ohhhhh...I do hope you feel better soon.
I like your lovely blog just as it is. Your Photography is so inspiring and all of the vintage-y goodness.......Oh, I could just eat it up!
I come here to get away from my hum-drum working mother of three life. I love living through other inspiring Artists! Keep up the wonderful work and feel better soon! :)

I hope you feel well soon, I need the style inspiration!
I really like when you did the wool skirt different ways and the sewater vest different ways, the whole how to mix up a single piece into many looks!
Sending good thoughts your way.

Hi! *wave* I'm new to your blog and fell over when I saw how much you look like a good friend of mine! I swear you have an Australian twin! I really admire the way your photos are collaged. I took the time to peek at your first posts in 2007 and your graphic design is fantastic now.

I love photos of your thrift adventures and how to mix up a basic item with other things.
Cheers!

i'd love your blog as it is, your photos and style are so inspiring. but i'd also be interested in what its been like to move from LA to Lancaster, PA. How have you made PA your "own"? Like recommendations of local things

Why change a good thing... I agree with the other posts, your blog is really great.

You draw my attention to collections that I have never heard of.

I like you 'visual diary' entries, great to see what inspires you other than clothes.

If it makes you feel better i am heading into winter...

I agree with everyone else that your blog is lovely and doesn't need changing.

I really like the abandoned places posts though, would love to see more about these!

Hope you feel better. x

TOAST! I love that catalog.. their sleeping teddy bear images are perfection! As are all the others... I quite love your blog the ways it is. The other commenters had some great ideas too though, so, I concur :-)

Your blog is lovely and different from everything else. It really stands up among tons of blogs on the web. I like following you because I'm inspired by your cute outfits, your vintage touch, your writing style and your attitude in general and I think your posts are really helpful to improve my style (have I one??) I agree with other comments: the post on the four ways to use the same item is especially useful. Maybe you should change a bit poses you take on the photos, to avoid monotony. But at the same time I appreciate that the photos never hide the dresses, as always occurs to fashion magazine and fashion photografers looking for "an artsy look". Oh, I write so much! Well, I hope you'll feel better soon, keep on blogging.

xo

I agree with everyone else. There are very few blogs that I actually find interesting and yours is one of them! I love, love (double time) reading it. The abandoned houses pictures were very nifty. Can we have some more of those??
