Think Tank "On the Way to the Club"
I think it has rained for seven, eight, nine (?) days straight. I'm beginning to feel like I'm going to wash away. I know that spring usually calls for
florals and pastels and all things pretty but I just can't seem to get into the spirit. I keep reaching for the same blacks and greys and browns in my closet. Perhaps a little sunshine over the weekend will lift my mood.

It really has been raining for about a week straight! I feel like I'm missing out on spring too. Your dress is lovely, especially with the umbrella :)
Today looks like it might be sunny though...
I hope you enjoy your weekend!
It has rained here almost every day this week (Liverpool, UK). I love your pretty collar.
This is so pretty!
i hate the rain, but you make it look good!
I feel exactly the same! The weather has a huge impact on my dressing. And yep, it's been raining here in Finland as well. Love your outfit and the pictures!:)
I love Sally Jane Vintage, but your pictures always get cut off for me :(
Love your blog, and your photos, and your style! I've been cruising around the vinage blogs to try to discover what is out here . . . . I have a little Etsy shop where I offer vintage / reconstruction / vintage inspired garments, shoes, and accessories, and I have made quite a few sales in a short time, including international customers. I still can't quite figure out, though, if things can only be classified as "vintage" if they are of a particular age. I have many listings that are beautiful, but I'm not sure that they are "old." I'd like to connect with the vintage community, but not sure if my style will fit in! Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks so much, Nina @ Gossamer Wings Studio
We've had a lot of rain too, and it's been cold. I remember going on long bike rides this time last year because it was so lovely.. Great background in your photos.
ugg DC has almost the same weather and its awful, but I love these photos with the umbrella
i loved the dress!♥
That collar is epic. I love the bottom right picture.
i love the collar! what a great way to spice up a little black dress!
that collar is gorgeous! what a fantastic find!
I love your first pic...so simple, but captivating.

i love the photographs so much. I'm sick of this rain, as well. It was nice to see some sun today. I am sick of a water-logged pennsylvania.

No kidding you're washing away! Your face is half-way melted.
I am sorry to hear abouth the weather. We have a beautiful spring and in the last few days temperatures are almost as high as in in summer.
i feel the same way. the rain is getting on my nerves as much as i do like my cup of hot chocolate and a good book while i'm curled up on the sofa with the rain softly drumming against the window... i just can't concentrate on reading if the soft drumming turns in to a punk rock-drumm-solo! most of the time i run around in my pajamas anyway and then if i'm going outside because the rain has finally stopped i find myself cloaked in black, greys and browns. well it's nice to see that i'm not alone with that. and it's definetly nice to see that your not running around in your pjs!! i love the contrast between your elegent outfit and the spraypainted wall, it makes your esemble look even better! hope you'll keep on looking so lovely rain or not. i have no doubt you will!
Ditto here in Auckland, we have had rain, hail, thunder etc, just vile weather and cold to boot for days now, if this keeps up I'll have to consider building an ark ! : )
I just have to say that you are the most fabulous girl ever, I love your vintage romantic syle, all your outfits are incredible!

I love the pictures, the umbrella is such a cute touch!
Such nice pictures. It's nice to see your sombre dark outfits among all the springy brightness-- rain and clouds are an important part of spring!
