Sorry it's been a bit of a boring week around here. Honestly the combination of cutting back on spending and loads of rain has left me feeling a bit uninspired. I've been hearing the phrase "shop your closet" thrown around quite a bit lately so I thought I'd give it a try. Last night I took down a couple of boxes from the top of my closet where I was storing some extra clothes and I found a few things that I thought I had gotten rid of. I have to say it was quite fun finding things that I thought were long gone. I switched them out with some dresses that were hanging in my closet. Hopefully, now I'll forget about those dresses and months from now when I take those boxes back down, it'll be like finding treasures all over again.

I am so very into that summery plaid right now. Such a pretty dress.
I also love when I find things I have forgotten about. I am moving to Chicago here soon and I am going to store a lot of clothes at my parent's house. I cannot wait to dig through that in over a year. What amazing things I will find!

that's one of the best places to shop! i always keep a couple bags of stuff for some time before i really get rid of it. and i generally keep about half the stuff when i finally go through it again!

I love the shopping your closet idea! With the economy and all it's useful to cut corners.

Somehow I missed this post until now. You look lovely and the pictures are stunning. I love the dress. Is that an old greenhouse of some sort? Is it abandoned? I just took pictures in my own greenhouse a few days ago, although they're not so dreamy as these. Check them out if you want, they're on my blog.
