Built By Wendy is one of those lines that while I don't usually love it from start to finish it always has a few pieces in it that really win me over. I'm not quite sure how I'm feeling about the new fall collection just yet so I'm going to hold off judgement until I see the individual pieces when they hit the store on August 29th.
I'm afraid I've set myself up for disappointment after falling so hard for last fall's collection (no pun intended). I just don't know if anything can top that for me! I'm still deeply regretting not snagging this wool jumper when it went on sale. Ever since, I've been searching for something just like it to no avail. Any chance anyone out there has a spare one lying around? Seriously... anyone that can locate this baby for me (in an XS) will not go unrewarded. Ready, set, go!

you're last few collection highlight posts have been so darn spot on. I wish that i lived somewhere with seasons where i could make a full on wardrobe overhaul but alas probably not going to happen. But Jet Rag will be seeing me soon on the search for cute rounded peter pan colors and jumpers in brown and navy.

I like the classic palette and the high waisted dress... but I'm not much of a high collar girl.

i'm really digging the pops of red.
i've been enjoying pops of red with shoes, and belts but never thought of tights!
Mmmm - I'm not into colored tights but I think those red tights make the difference between a blah outfit and not so.
I totally get where you are coming from!
It almost seems as if the red tights have only been added becuase they realise something needs to liven up the collection!
It feels like i've seen this all before, but not to worry, other fall collections so far have been stunning, so i'm sure there will be no lack of inspiration this season :D!

Just out of curiosity...how tall are you? I am so tempted to buy some skirts and/or dresses off of your site, but I'm always afraid of that awkward length issue (if you know what I mean...?).

I'm like you, picking and choosing amongst built by wendy's pieces. And I think I really must have the navy print dress.
I actually *LOVE* the new collection even more than past collections...the pops of red are just perfect!
There is a very similar dress available at H&M right now. I know because I have it!
I have it in the cream and it's really nice, but the buttons are kind of a pain in the butt to do / undo, as despite the yoga my arms cannot contort that far up my back... I hope that makes you feel better about the jumper!
Still, I'll keep an eye out!
