Whenever new movies come out, I tend to put them in one of two categories; movies to see in the theater and movies to put on my Netflix list. I remember reading a review of An Education recently (in Rolling Stone maybe?) and thinking it would fall into the Netflix column. It sounded like a film I'd want to check out, but nothing I was in a hurry to see or that would be impressive on the big screen. After seeing these still shots from the movie, I'm reconsidering.

Such beautiful dresses! And I love her hair!
We're going to see this tonight! I have watched the trailer about twenty times.
It's lovely! Go see it. The atmosphere is great and the story isn't bad either.
Viv
Definitely, I can't wait for it! I saw her @ Letterman Show a couple weeks ago, she's strangely beautiful.
i really want to see this, i dunno if I have anyone to go with
Oh I want to see this so badly! I have to admit that although I've heard great things about the acting, directing, etc. the costumes are also a big part of my desire to get to the theater for it.
Wow. It looks so good! I love the costumes, which would be enough to convince me to go anyway.
basically all that hollywood has to do to get me to watch movies is have them set in the 50s/early 60s. these stills are gorgeous!
I am majorly crushing on Carey Mulligan right now. She's all sorts of amazing, from her hair to her clothing style and of course, her bri'ish accent.
Like hundreds of others, I can't wait to see this movie!
i think peter sarsgaard(sp?) is a very talented guy! i definitely want to see this ... but it doesnt look like the type of film that will come to my area! :(
I'm definitely going to see this movie! look at all those pretty dresses and her hair is perfect!
It's my first post here. I'm french and I went to see this movie two weeks ago in a festival. The story is okay. But, to me, it was a pleasure for the eyes, especially on a big sreen. Almost every outfit is beautiful to look at. And it's true that Carey Mulligan is wonderful in this movie.
Great blog.
i actually read a review of this movie in a nylon magazine - maybe that's where you saw it? anyway i'm really excited for this movie. i heard many good things about it, the costumes look amazing, and peter sarsgaard is a great actor.
Oh man, the lead actress is so cute!
From these images it looks as if it's got the English version of the Mad Men vibe.
Such beautiful clothes. I adore that brown coat! I've never heard of the movie before, but it looks like a feast for the eyes.

This does look cool!
flower dress is really beutifull.i have to see this film because these shots are really nice.
P.S. I was thinking about your dress in the last post - white polka dots on blue - isn't it a timeless combination - always fresh and in this instance, very elegantly pretty
I really want to see this now too! It's by Nick Hornby too which I know will always be good.
i heard wonderful reviews about this - the outfits seem just as enticing!
