Third Time's A Charm

A line I really like that I haven't written about here before is Wren. I'm not quite sure how it's slipped through the cracks until now. Sometimes I think it takes a while for me to be 100% convinced to follow a designer from season to season. A lot of times I'll like one collection, perhaps a second, but then they sort of lose me by the third one and then I'm out. I think I do the same thing with bands. If I like the first record, I'll check out the second one but if that doesn't stick with me, I'll likely never listen to the third one and so on... But this is the third collection in a row from Wren that has struck my fancy. I love looking at the F/W looks whenever I'm stumped for ways to layer on cold days. The holidays has perfect little party looks with short black dresses and polka dot tights. And now the S/S collection has me looking forward to more chambray skirts and nautical stripes.

Love your selection, very cool. If you're keen to see some more spring fashion check out New Zealand Fashion Week, we've just finished our shows. The best shows were Zambesi, Karen Walker and Trelise Cooper. The best link to view the shows is via the TVNZ website link http://tvnz.co.nz/fashion-week/index-group-2925785

With music and novels I'm much like that too, but with fashion I always try to keep my eyes open for everything (quite impossible, though)

Oh my. Love it the first time you posted the fall look. Now I love the holiday 09 looks, especially the black full skirts and the polka dot tights!

Very cute blog you have here :)

I just realise that the model for holiday 09 is actually Alexa Chung! Think she's the one with short hair in the 2nd and 3rd pic for holiday 09! Saw it on another site! She's such a beauty!

this line upsets me - mainly because its the same silhouette all over again - this poofy short skirt thing with a belt...if you have a smidgeon of a hip you look like a balloon. im fairly hip-less and ive attempted to pull this off and 'twas quite a disaster. too teen vogue for me, personally! can't wait for lyell!

I really like the outfit from the fall collection with the yellow tights. I love colored tights and how subdued the rest of the outfit is. Inspiring!
