photos credits coming soon...
I spent all day today finally getting my office space organized. It's been weeks of clutter and piles of clothes and not knowing where anything was! Now everything is hanging in its place, filed in drawers or folded neatly in boxes. Whew! Of course the organizing binge means I didn't have time for a shop update or a proper blog post but sometimes a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. So instead, here's a bit of what's been occupying my (very little) spare time.
- Loved this interview with the prop master from Mad Men.
- I am completely and utterly addicted to Pandora radio. Remember when Miranda fell in love with her TiVo? Pandora is my new boyfriend.
- Finding new abandoned places to explore. I want to go to each of these!
- Hair: to grow or not to grow, that is the question. I just hacked off about three inches and I'm tempted to do more!
- My new TV indulgence is Dexter. I didn't think I'd like it, but... I do! The best parts are the thoughts he never says out loud.
- Rooting for the Phillies! Chase Utley is my other new boyfriend.
- Tomorrow I'm doing a 4-Way Post with a 60s suit that I found at the thrift store - my newest favorite thing.

I started watching Dexter a while ago. I think the first season is good, and maybe the second as well, but the third gets really corny (lots of scenes with the ghost of his father giving him advice) and that trend has continued into the 4th season... but, I'm still watching, even though I think it went downhill.
Pandora is totally the bees knees! Especially the app for it on my ipod so that way I can listen to it in bed! :)
Yeah Phillies!!!! I was born + raised in PA about 45 minutes outside of Philly so I am just thrilled + freaking about the non-sweep that's going on. Unfortunately my husband is a Yankees fan, so it's been pretty interesting. ;)
P.S. Chase Utley is my other boyfriend too. Love him.
the photo of the ferris wheel is both haunting and enchanting...love it. I wonder where it's from?
Dexter is LOVE, though I haven't seen any series past the second one yet. I think I'm afraid it gets worse, but people tell me it doesn't.
Ooooooooh no, Chase? Really?? You just broke my heart. I've taken to calling him Chase Buttley...because I am a 4th grader when it comes to pro sports rivalries.
around this time last year, i hacked off my super long hair to a short short assymetrical pixie cut. don't know how short you're thinking of- short is definitely fun while it lasts, but now i'm going through the most awkward hair stages trying to grow it back! ugh!
If it is your choice, to cut your hair more shorter. Then go. ;D

the abandoned ferris wheel is just gorgeous.
I love the 100 Abandoned Houses website. I'm originally from Michigan, about 30 minutes from Detroit, and actually recognize a few of those houses. The photography is so beautiful compared to how ugly Detroit has become.
I absolutely adore Dexter. It's strange how funny the show is, even though the subject matter is pretty gruesome.

Urgh, Dexter is so addicting. I adore that show!
oh mais les photos sont ravissantes!! et je t'avoue que dexter est aussi ma serie préferée
All of these photos are terribly inspiring! I love them all. Also I think random blog posts are underrated, those usually tend to be some of my favorite ones! It's nice just to get updates on people.
