It seems I've fallen prey to whatever latest bug is being passed around. It started this morning with just a soar throat but has slowly spread to take over, well, everything. I've been reduced to a pile of bones perched on the couch with the remote control clasped in my hand. I thought it would be a good day to indulge in a bit of online browsing but I really couldn't muster much enthusiasm. My picks seem to reflect my rather somber mood - all greys and blacks. I only picked a few things that caught my eye before wrapping myself back in the blankets and giving into the couch. Perhaps I can gather enough energy for an interesting post tomorrow?

On the subject of colds, I've discovered this stuff called Dr. Thompson's Cold War. It's one of those vitamin/herbal supplements that I'm generally a bit skeptical of, but so far this season it has kept my cold symptoms from developing past sniffles and a sore throat on two separate occasions. I'm a believer!

How sad is that you are sick ... I understand you, really, because my "low defenses" and I take vitamins and all that stuff, so it is having a gloomy day.
I hope you feel better ... and if it's any consolation, the sets you chose are very beautiful, especially the shoes and clothing ...

Love everything you've listed, especially the dress and shoes. Sorry you're not feeling well. I was sick recently and this remedy helped me tremendously: bring water to a near-boil, add juice of 1/2 lemon, then about 2 tbsp honey (or to taste). Delicious and comforting.
I just bought the little velvet Lyell cardigan...had to get it when I tried it on and went "ohhh awwwww!" It's so nice.
Oh and I'm right there with you in sickville...no fun!

I just bought those tights 2 days ago! They were sold out for a while so when I saw that they were restocked I got them as soon as I could!
And try Refresh Tazo Tea! It's spearmint, and I swear that it will immediately make your throat feel better x infinity.. even if just while your drinking it!
