I just flipped through the Ruche Winter Look Book and really liked quite a few of the looks. Even though my days of wearing knee socks are done and over with, these photos almost have me convinced to try it. I said almost. Replace the knee socks with tights and I'd certainly wear it! A yellow coat has been on my wishlist for the past couple of winters but I never seem to find the right one. Doesn't it seem like the perfect thing to brighten up a dreary winter day?

I am in the same boat as you. I love knee socks but I just can't wear them. I prefer tights. The hats are amazing (I love hats!) and the colors are just fantastic. I have never bought anything from them though!

i wear knee socks all winter...just under my pants. no way would i bare a leg with just a knee sock! i think it looks adorable on everyone who's currently doing it, though.
Just lovely! I agree about knee socks...they look so adorable on others, but they're just not me. I do love that yellow coat! I wonder why it is so difficult to find the perfect yellow coat? Like you, I think it seems like such an obvious solution to the winter gloom!

These are lovely photos, and I love that gray hat with the yellow coat. I've never thought much about a yellow coat, but I've always wanted a nice red one. I have a red wool cape that my grandma bought when she was young, but it's rather long and when I put it on, it's so huge that it's the only part of the outfit visible. I hang onto it because I am convinced that one day I'll figure out how to wear it without looking like Little Red Riding Hood!
