I'm always on the prowl for great vintage photos on Flickr and lately there seems to be no end to the wonderful discoveries I've found. Some real gems! Jessica came across the most amazing set of vintage photos at an antique store and was such a doll to scan them all to share with the ol' internets. They're seriously some of the best vintage photos I've even laid eyes on! I sort of want to spend my whole summer hanging out on a tree branch by the lake with a couple of gal pals. Then there's the 1935-1944 set that I discovered through Francesca. And of course there are a couple from old fave mrwaterslide who always has something interesting to look at.

theres nothing like looking at vintage photographs. i work at a nursing home and a lot of residents have older pictures of themselves and I just love to stare at the them. its almost as if you can see the amazing life they lived!

Really beautiful photos! I love to imagine what those people would look like now. I always enjoy going through old family photo albums. I love to see how my grandparents looked like when they were my age. Really inspiring. (:

These are all so lovely! I'm obsessed with vintage pics and will spend hours sifting through piles at flea markets, estate sales, etc.

Swooooooooon. So many beautiful ladies in rompers, but the tiny tiny kitten behind the camera is breaking my heart! (In a good way.)
