The Music Room

a
photos from The Sartorialist

I'm not exactly sure what the story is behind these photos. Are the for a magazine? A catalog? Anyone know? I just know that I loved them the second I saw them. Pretty gals? Pretty clothes? Abandoned building? Check, check and check.

i always wanted to play the guitar. every once in awhile i pick up one of my husband's guitars and pretend like i know what i'm doing. it doesn't go very well. maybe i should try the tamborine ;)

this was no commercial shoot. Those are her clothes (all vintage or flea market) and this is here place. We shot with just the two of us - no hair or make-up person. For those reasons this fits the honesty of the shots I have always shown.
and yes, she is no DJ but she was having so much fun acting like one we shot it anyway.
