Here are the last of the photos that Tom and I took at the abandoned lace factory. We ended up wandering around in the vast buildings until we found what used to be their showroom. There was a fake storefront with painted glass, backdrops for photos shoots and loads of old samples. If everything hadn't been so disintegrated, I might have come home with a stack full of old lace!

3

There were also stacks and stacks of old lace patterns. They were these huge sheets that had holes punched in a seemingly random pattern. The patterns would be fed through equally huge machines, each one yielding a different final product.

Monday I'll finally be able to show you the other little project that Tom and I were working on at the lace factory!

As far as I know there is nothing so awesome as your abandoned lace factory in CA. But maybe I've just never taken the time to look around.

You are one of my biggest fashion inspirations. I am slowly refining my limited wardrobe to items that I love, and so many pieces I imagine wearing like you would.

Abandoned lace factory?! How do you find such amazing locations? It's like they're hand plucked from a book of short stories!
