I'm not in a terribly wordy mood right now so I think I'll let the photos do most of the talking for this post. Long story short, we had a lovely weekend. A little bit of snow that's already mostly gone, lots of rearranging the furniture in the house as we're still trying to decorate, skipping our usual First Friday outing in favor of dinner at home and a little bit of piling on the couch to watch a Firefly marathon (can you tell I'm a Joss Whedon nerd?). Did you have a nice weekend too?

The countryside in your neck of the woods is so pretty.

P.S. In the November issue of Elle Decoration (yes we are a bit behind down under) there is an interview with Jane Birkin.

My weekend would have been better if I had thought to have a Firefly marathon. I had no idea you were a fellow fan! :)

Your photos are always so "epic". That's the only word I can think to describe them. They always seem to tell a story.

Wow, that is an amazing tree! Beautiful.
I remember that dress was in your wishlist, I'm so glad you got it! Looks lovely on you.
A very relaxing weekend here, cooking sweets for boyfriend's birthday and going to the second sunday vintage fair. Have a great week Jennifer!

I love this dress! It's very 70s-does-the-30s. Love it with the boots, too.

This is such a great outfit. I love the dress. A little bit edwardian a little bit french... it's nice to see a different take on the stripey dress.

Great dress! I love Dear Creatures but don't quite have the funds to get something for myself yet. I've heard really good things about Firefly so I might just have to get that on my netflix.
