Spring Fantasy Outfits

Untitled-1 (5)
Topshop dress & sunglasses, Modcloth cardigan, Swedish Hasbeen flats

In the interest of self preservation I have a strict no outfit photos rule on any day when the temperature doesn't rise above the freezing mark. It's 14 outside right now (that's -10 for you celcius folks) and I'm planted firmly on the couch in pajamas.

Staying indoors has left me with plenty of time to do some fantasy spring shopping. Most of these items are well out of my budget so I'll be scouring thrift stores for vintage alternatives. I'm really, really loving the new spring shoes from Swedish Hasbeens! Those perforated flats are seriously on my list.

I have a pair of loafers similar to the Steve Allen ones, and they are some of the best, tallest, most comfortable shoes in my wardrobe. And they have tassels! I can't get enough loafers.

Oh that new Swedish Hasbeens collection!
I'm not a big fan of the clogs but the new collection is amazing! Those flats!

Ah, fantasy shopping--the style bloggers' sport. ;)

I'm kind of crazy about that first Topshop dress. The scalloped collar is so good.

These outfits all look gorgeous--the shoes are especially awesome. I love that first dress, too!

I want the chambray Steve Allan dress so much it hurts + the wide-brimmed straw hat. Adorable in a seaside/Boardwalk sort of way.

I was making a fantasy Steven Alan shopping cart yesterday, all of the spring dresses are so good. A part of me thinks if I start buying spring clothes, it will magically come and we can put away the duck boots for another year. Wishful thinking...

Jennifer-- these vintage-inspired outfits are wonderful. I can't imaging those frigid temperatures. It's a balmy 81 degrees for us Floridians.

...thanks for sharing.

I love the second one and the last one! Warmth and simple clothes do sound nice, especially clothes like that.

You slay me, Jezebel! Oh my, always featuring your spectacular wants and making me need them too. Oh, how I've yearned for that brown flannel Orla Kiely you posted about in December (still haven't found the right fabric to make one...) and now this cutie brown polka dot...oh my.
