Crashing hard into the secret wind...

It's been a bit of a sad week around here. I got word on Monday that our family dog, my canine sister, passed away suddenly over the weekend. It's always hard to lose a pet but especially so when you're so far away and didn't get a chance to say goodbye. Going home won't be the same without her stepping on my feet and waking me up by thumping her huge tail on the porch.

c

In other not so sad news the weather has finally warmed up enough to start wearing some of the lightweight dresses I collected over the winter. It's a small victory in the scheme of things, I know, but I'll take what I can get. Look, there's even green grass! Oh, and one of these days I'll get my shizz together enough to start doing more frequent shop updates. Until then, look out for a huge update tomorrow!

You look amazing; I love that print dress. You always find the best photo locations, gosh!

I'm so sorry about your dog! My dogs growing up felt like my siblings, too; it's always just the saddest thing when you lose one :(

i'm so sorry to hear about your dog - i lost my family dog and long time pal last year. they are such special and meaningful companions, aren't they? but i truly believe that their souls are at peace somewhere (with lots of doggy treats!).

your outfit is stunning as always, and i can't wait for that warm weather to cheer everyone up :)

stay well!

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear about your dog. :( I understand what you're going through, my cats were my best friends in my childhood and when they passed away I lived far away and didn't get to say goodbye either.

I'm glad the weather is spring-like for you, your dress is absolutely gorgeous! As usual you found a great place to shoot it-- love the picture of you in front of the rocky wall.
