What I'm Wearing

click for bigger pictures

coat: vintage (Goodwill in Lancaster)
dress: H&M ( I figured I should list it even though you can't see it so I won't seem like I'm a flasher)
tights: American Apparel
boots: vintage

I've been exploring the local thrift shops to find goodies to sell in the store. It seems every time I go, I find something that I want to keep for myself. I'm loving this 70's hooded trench coat. It's missing the belt, but I think I'll be able to find another one to replace it with.

If you've moved to the Lancaster area, I can share some good thrift stores in York/Dallastown... which should only be fourty-five minutes away.

I just moved from Pennsylvania to New York, so someone needs to frequent them instead of me!

The shape of that coat is perfect! I've been having the same problem lately . . . I keep finding things to sell and end up keeping them. Especially coats. At least you're in a colder place now and have a good excuse to hold onto cute coats. :)

really, you must stop! i can't take it anymore. your luck with coats is absurd. this fits you perfectly. i don't blame you for keeping it...

More coat love, the hood is a work of genius. How does the thrifting in PA compare to your old home?

The hood makes it perfect, really a lucky find :-)

Rosaline: I was planning a trip to that area so I'd love to hear your suggestions on good place to thrift.

Munie: Yes, of course!

The Clothes Horse: I don't think I'll ever find anything as good as thrifting in Birmingham. The shops there are huge, super cheap and always packed. I am finding more great coats and boots here though because of the colder weather, so that's fun.
