Thanks so much for all of your NYC suggestions. I'm finally getting comfortable navigating the city by myself and I'm so excited to check out some of your favorite spots. Eventually I'm gonna get myself out to Brooklyn but I don't think I'll brave it this trip. We're staying in Chelsea so I think most of my exploring will be around that area. I'm definitely going to hit up the Lyell shop for a little torture session (since I won't be able to afford a thing). I hear some of the early spring pieces are in the shop and I'm super excited to get a look in person.
Over the weekend I toted three huge bags of spring clothes out of the attic and poured through them. It was so much fun rediscovering all of the pieces I bought months ago and forgot about. I was good and put almost everything on the "to-sell" rack. There were just a couple of things I snagged for myself that I'll show you later this week. Today I'm starting to photograph things for the shop and since I'll be out of town the latter part of the week, I'll do a big Etsy update tomorrow with pretty spring things!

The photos are so pretty and make me feel nostalgic..but not sure what for/about. Have fun in NYC and your "spring cleaning" is inspiring me to do the same

I'm a little late on the NYC recommendations, but a few places just popped into my head! Since you're staying in Chelsea, there is a vintage store on 23rd St. that has tons of pretty (and pricey) dresses from every decade called Family Jewels Vintage Clothing (130 West 23rd St) that's great for browsing. If you decide to wander down to the Lower East Side after you stop by the Lyell store, you should definitely go to Edith Machinist (104 Rivington St)--they have an amazing collection of vintage shoes! Also, Geminola (41 Perry St)in the West Village is expensive, but so so beautiful! Have fun!!
love those images and the outfit :))
Beautiful Jennifer. I love your black outfit against the brown fields.
I hope you have a excellent trip to NYC.

I live 20 minutes outside of NYC. . .it's such a pain to get in and out of there though so I don't go in at all. I'm too much of a suburban woodsy girl.

I haven't checked to see if someone suggested this store yet, but it is a MUST visit-

No matter how little time I have in the city when I visit (once a year) I always step in for some framed insects or perhaps a replica baby skull or two (eek!). Have an amazing time!

I love the field setting of these photos
No way! Massive Attack lyrics? I'm totally, actually, going to see them tonight playing at the Opera House forecourt! Not even kidding.
(your photos look so beautiful btw)
these photos are beautiful. the lyric reminded me that massive attack are playing in my city soon.
i think this beret is ugly or maybe it's not for you, without this beret you look much beter.
Love the top picture :) But then again, they're all gorgeous.
i cannot believe there is still snow on the ground! i've already sported a week of shorts... but at least it looks like it's melting away and temps are rising for ya. you make me wish i had an attic to hide things from myself so i can rediscover them again later! beautiful outfit and photos as usual.
Those are really great, moody pics! Nice! and love the outfit!
