Cracks

a

I discovered Cracks, an quite unfortunately named movie if you ask me, via Tara Lynn's blog and knew instantly that it was something I had to learn more about. It definitely falls into the category of movies I'd watch just for the costumes and set decoration but after watching the trailer it seems to have a decent story line as well.

If you need convincing of the genius of the costumes, just take a peek at the "Moors Scene" or "Girls on the Steps". The movie seems to cover a year in the life of these boarding school students so there are winter coats and wellies for winter and floral dresses and Peter Pan collars for spring. A little something for everyone! The winter scenes make me feel a little better about this lingering winter we're having. Maybe it's not so bad to have a few more chances to dress like an English gal wandering through the moors!

I am absolutely going to watch this for the costumes, haha. The plot comes second, but if it's good thats just a bonus.
This make take the place of The Edge Of Love for most stylish movie!

This film really does look gorgeous. And that's enough for me :)

I (finally) watched Edge of Love the other day, and it was so bad it was embarrassing, BUT it did look amazing – so I enjoyed it! Shallow is fine at times :)
