Over the weekend Tom and I stopped in front of this Amish dairy farm to snap a few photos right as the sun set. This is a pretty typical view of what Lancaster looks like when you get out of the city. It was such a beautiful day and the Amish were out in full force on their horses and mule drawn plows. You really start to feel a bit like you've stepped back in time when you're out there surrounded by it.

Today I'm venturing out for my very first trip to Hershey Park! I've always been a bit of a roller coaster junkie so I'm pretty excited. I think we're also going to make a stop into Chocolate World. I keep hearing about this place and its kitschy ride so I'm pretty curious to see it too. I keep picturing Willy Wonka's factory in my head. Perhaps I'll come home with one of those gigantic one pound Hershey chocolate bars?

I really like your original in shape shoes. They are very pretty. The color is really feminine.

A friend of mine played in one of the bands at Hershey Park for a few summers, so a girlfriend and I headed down for a weekend. It was such a fun park! And the ride at Choclate World? The perfect mix of cheesy and informative. Enjoy your day!!

I used to love Hersey Park (and Sesame Place) when I was younger. It's hard not to walk out without a lot of chocolate, though.

My mother grew up in Lancaster county so visiting my grandparents always called for things like a trip into Amish country and a stop by Hershey Park. The ride is all sorts of kitsch (as I remember, at the end of the ride, you can get a photo of yourself holding an enormous hershey bar while sitting on a faux light post whose bulb is a giant hershey kiss.)

Those shoes look darling on you, and the photos are beautiful, truly. And I loooove roller coasters too! It'd be awesome if you get yourself one of those ridiculously large Hershey bars!

I visited Pennsylvania when I was younger and I remember how like another era it felt, seeing all the horses and carriages. Beautiful dress and shoes too.

What a fantastic dress.

Hershey Park has always been one of those places I've wanted to visit, but never have. I mean, chocolate and roller coasters in the same place? Yes, please!

I find it fascinating that you went to an Amish farm. That must be such a sight! After reading this post I started reading up on that town right away :)

Your dress is so pretty and goes perfectly with the setting.
