Here is a little collection of recent street style photos that I've collected. I think these photos are a pretty good representation of how I'm feeling about getting dressed these days. The days are getting hotter and hotter and I'm feeling more and more casual. I'll never give up my vintage dresses but I'm not feeling very motivated to wear them right now. Cutoff and t-shirts? Yes. 90s-style florals? Yes. Maybe it's the heat, or maybe it's just a little shift in style. I dunno yet.

I know how you feel about wanting to look more casual, I don't tend to plan my outfits as much in the summer. I love just slipping on a t-shirt and some lovely shorts.

Omg, I have the same feeling about my dresses lately! I feel weird, but these days I often feel more comfortable wearing a simple tee... I'll be 30yo in three months and maybe this will be a sort of little turning point in style too...?

ah i think this is a summer tendency, you can't really be bothered to make a big fuzz about your outfit when you'll just be melting away anyway. but maybe it's the generell direction your heading for right now. how knows, that's the great thing about style, it's constantly evolving.
i think your little collection of streetstyle shots is still very much "you" if i may say so. even cut offs and a tee can look quite put together. the bottom shot on the left i believe is sidney geubelle, i saw her on stylelikeyou.com a while back. she has a great layed back casual wardrobe from what i can tell. lovely inspiration, so thanks!

I love all these styles and i love the way booties look with summer dresses but I don't see how one can wear leather boots in summer.

Gah, my feelings exactly! I've been wearing skirts and dresses all freezing winter. And now it is summer all I want to do is wear ripped shorts and loose tank-tops.
Maybe it is a shift in fashion...
