Photography: The Justice & Police Museum

1

This week's photography spotlight comes from Australia's Justice & Police Museum. The museum is home to a vast negative archive documenting the early years of Sydney's unruly waterfront. I can't help but imagine the stories of these people's lives. There's something about their unflinching gazes that is so haunting.

I just love seeing old photos like these! I think about who these people were and what they were thinking about when the photo was taken...

So hauntingly beautiful! I wish there was more information on the people, like what they got arrested for in the first place

Incredible photography! Do you have a link to where you found these images? I've been on the site but can't find any images. These are stunning, as a photographer I thank you for sharing.
