We had yet another nice, quiet weekend. Tom was sick all last week and we'd both been cooped up in the house so it was nice to finally get out for a bit. Friday night was Lancaster's monthly First Friday celebration so we walked downtown to check out all of the new gallery shows. There was a design show at the college where Tom teaches so we hung out there for a while before heading to a new Indian restaurant for dinner with a couple of friends.

Then it rained for the rest of the weekend so I'm glad we got out of the house for a bit while we had the chance. I spent the next couple of days pouring over flower catalogs and dreaming about finally getting to landscape our backyard. I'm hoping we've already had our last freeze so I can hurry up and get out there and dig in the dirt. Astilbe, loriope, hostas! I'm so excited. :)

Beautiful pictures, and mmm Indian food.

I really want to try some basic gardening, but our weather here is just unpredictable, not to mention my entire yard is in shade. ):

Great pictures! I'm so jealous you are able to dress more spring-like--still too chilly in my neck of the woods. Iike the striped dress with the booties--may have to give that a try...

Love the stripes!
I've lived in Lancaster my entire life and have yet to make it down for a First Friday. It's been on my to-do list and I've just always been busy or forgot about it.

That last photo is just gorgeous! You look really great in stripes. I'm excited about landscaping a bit too! I am hoping one weekend this month will be nice enough to spend some time in the yard.

Bare legs! It looks like Spring in your town. I like the nod to French style in this outfit with the little black beret and Nautical striped dress.

Um, so do you totally just live in this perfect like Welsh village farm or something? With crazy cool old buildings and fences and things? It makes for beautiful pictures definitely!
