I want to rock your gypsy soul...

I wish I could say the slow blogging was due to some exciting activities around here, but the truth is actually quite boring. It's just the daily grind of working and cooking dinner and taking care of the house and blah, blah, blah.  At least the weather has been nice which means lunches on the patio and fresh herbs from the garden.  And I must admit I've been suffering from a case of blogger apathy lately.  The best days have been the days when I haven't even turned on my computer.

So... this is what I've been wearing a lot of lately.  Isn't it nice when you find a dress you've been wanting has gone on sale and it's still available in your size (and only your size)?  That's exactly what happened with this Dusen Dusen dress.  It's silk and light as air and I feel like I'm going to live in it all summer.  The only downside is the skirt is quite full so I risk having a Marilyn moment any time there's a breeze.

This is my kinda dress...love it! Sometimes you need to take a break away from the interest and computers to regain a little bit of your life back. I always feel refreshed if I give myself a day or two detox :)

oooh, bare legs! I'm jealous. Nice to see you posting again. Sometimes it just gets old, I think. It's ok to slow down or take a break when your heart's not in it. Just not for too long, ok?

I can relate to you. Blogging and social media has been taking a lot of our real world time recently and without it, sometimes we get to be more productive and we get to do other things aside from sitting in front of the computer and surfing.

It's okay to experience blogging apathy at times. But I love your blog so still keep on blogging. But feel free to take your time. You look great as always! :)

Those are the shining moments in life, really. That's when you feel like you got a break from the universe and finally got a small win. And what a win that dress is, it's so pretty!

Good to see you "back" again, but hope the break did you good, whether it was intentional or not. I love your look (both this particular one and all the time).

This dress looks great on you! I really like the boots paired with it. I've been worried about my fuller skirts blowing up in the wind too! So I've just been throwing on little cotton shorts underneath haha

I love those kind of days, where the thing you want is on sale and only in your size. Feels like destiny. ;)
