Marlene Marino

Untitled-2

I love discovering new photographers and flipping through their catalogs of images. This morning when I stumbled across Marlene Marino's images I knew I'd found a new favorite. Then suddenly the images started to look familiar. It only took me a second to place them. She's the photographer that shot the spring UO catalog that we've all been fawning over. The rest of her work is just as lovely (although some is probably NSFW, just an FYI).

She's such a great photographer! Really has a wonderful eye for illuminating the softness of women and fashion and those super romantic mountain and sea locations. Thanks for linking to her.

Also thank you for posting about Swedish hasbeens way way way back when and alerting me to the fabulousness of their clogs. I finally acquired two pairs--the jodhpurs and super high clog sandals although I'm feeling nervous and wanting to return the clogs.

love, Jenny

Oh, I'd been needing something to pull me out of my late winter doldrums. These photos feel so fresh and airy and remind me of spring. Thanks!

I have to say my favourites are the girl walking into the water, the solar-flared one and the girls sitting in front of a cracked painted wall. They're absolutely gorgeous, I'm saving them right now!
