This morning Tom and I drove to this little side-of-the-road place called Echoes From The Past that is part junk yard, part salvage yard, part animal sanctuary and a whole lotta awesome. There are several old barns to wander through where you can find everything from rusty old tools to piles of lace doilies.
There's an old man and woman that run the place and live in a house on the land. They even had their portraits (and their dogs!) painted in a mural on the side of one of the buildings. The field next to the salvage yard is home to a couple of horses, a huge turkey and several chickens and roosters. It's such a fun place to go and ramble.
This morning Tom and I were on a mission to find some old shutters for redoing the front of our house. Luckily we found just the thing! Of course they'll have to stay in our basement for the winter until they can be repainted and hung in the spring. I was also super tempted to bring home that mirrored door to keep in my office. I don't have a full length mirror and it would be perfect leaning up against the wall. Perhaps I'll have to go back!

What a beautiful place! I love how your outfits seem to always fit perfectly with your outfits.
I love your dress, the plaid and the neckline are so cute. The camel coat and hat are really nice too.

That looks like such a cool place! The shutter image ought to win an award.
I admire your (and Tom's) way of getting such a variety of photos, each so interesting and beautiful. A lot of fashion bloggers tend to fall into a rut; but not you!
I love this outfit and these photos are just stunning. I love the coat BTW so classic xx
That's my kind of shop.
Ohh! I adore your oufit. That camel coat is so perfect. 60's coats are always the sweetest.
Oh my! Can't wait to see the shutters on your house (if you post it) Shutters always remind of of the lovely house in the Notebook!

Your boots are amazing! Love love them! I was looking for a similar pair but they are always or too big, or too small, or too something I dislike. those are perfect!
These are such beautiful shots and a lovely place to spend some quality time.
Would love to travel through States someday soon! And visit these kinda places.
